Best Thai on Long island. Very fresh, flavorful, healthy but good portions. We went around 6 on a Saturday and was surprised it was empty. This place should be packed. Very good service too.

Very good. Our daughters favorite for Vegetable Drunken Noodles when we don't want to drive down to RVC. I always have the same thing, Mango Salad very spicy or Papaya Salad. Tonight we had both. We have split the whole fish.. they have 3 sizes and it pisses me off to no end that whatever large size we get, the waitress returns and informs us that it is a few dollars more than quoted.. I have also seen tables of other diners having the fish and somehow get the feeling our price is "different".
It's very peaceful and clean, but dim and a bit sad. 80's Muzak. Traditionally priced, not by any means inexpensive anymore..no place is.
There are really so few great Thai restaurants in Nassau County..it is frustrating not to have a place that I really enjoy close to home. -

This is probably my favorite Thai restaurant on Long Island. It's been tradition to go here on Valentine's Day for the last three years with my husband. We thought it was the best kept secret because there was never anyone here on Valentine's Day night. I guess this year the secret has been let out because this place was HOPPING.
We walked in and one of the women who worked there asked if we had a reservation. I panicked because I never thought I needed one. There was one table left that was open and we were lucky enough to snag it before anyone else came in.
Service is always great here and there was no exception for this visit as crowded as it was. There were just two women who were working on the floor and they seemed to handle all the tables with ease.
Our food was great! This was our first time getting the appetizer sampler for two, and it was fantastic. My beef with the basil sauce is my go to order. It is one of the spicier dishes and although I'm a baby when it comes to hot food, I suffer through this dish because it's so darn good. My husband's flat noodles with chicken, baby bok choy and broccoli was delicious as well. The only critique we have is that the chicken was slightly on the dry side. But given that the cook was in high demand at the time it was definitely something we can overlook.
Looking around it seemed like all the customers enjoyed their meals. This is one of those hidden gems I want to tell everyone about, but also keep secret so I do t have to worry about reservations every time a go :P -

I have dinned at Thai Flavor Kitchen several times. It's nearby so it's convenient and their food is good. However, the chicken satay had a very weird texture. It seemed very tough and rubbery. I probably wouldn't order that again. My standard appetizer choices are curry puff and Thai spring rolls. My boyfriend enjoys their Pad Thai with Shrimp. I like things more spicy. I like their Drunken Noodles with beef. Their food is always fresh and steamy when it gets to the table. I typically burn my tongue because I can't wait to take my first bite. It's really good compared to other Thai places in the area.

Very good Thai iced tea and perfectly flavored chicken basil (ask for mild, because medium may not be for all). Sweet, thick peanut sauce...yum!
